Dr Leo Seo Wei is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist who has extensive experience in cataract management & surgery in Singapore. She is also one of the few specialists in Singapore who are trained with the latest trifocal implant lens for cataract patients & bladeless cataract surgery.
In 1996, Dr Leo graduated from medical school at the National University of Singapore with the Gold Medal & Book Prize in Ophthalmology. After completing basic specialist training in Singapore National Eye Centre, National University Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, she obtained her Membership of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Ophth) in 2000 and Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) in 2001.
Dr Leo Seo Wei subsequently did her advanced Specialist training in Ophthalmology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She obtained the Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and passed the USMLE or the United States Medical Licensing Examinations. Throughout this year, Dr Leo Seo Wei has won numerous service excellence awards including the Health Manpower Development Plan award from the Ministry of Health, Clinical Excellence (EXSA) Silver 2008, and Gold 2009.
